The Top Hat Bar & Restaurant Terms and Conditions

For the sale of food and beverage, reservations and space hire at Gamepath Entertainment.

All reservations and pre-bookings are subject to availability and to these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions should be read prior to booking, as booking a reservation or package constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

To assist in ensuring your safety, CCTV is in operation throughout the Attraction venue.

Gamepath Entertainment reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any Customer from the Attraction for any reason, without a refund or readmittance. We operate a zero tolerance policy on harassment. Customers must not, under any circumstances, touch or talk to any of the staff, servers or performers in an inappropriate manner. Management retains absolute discretion to decide what is ‘inappropriate’.

The Top Hat Bar & Restaurant

1. Definitions


1.1
‘Ticket’ means any item, tangible, or intangible, which confers the right to attend the game experience

1.2 ‘Customer’ includes both the person who purchased, or intends to purchase, Tickets, a gift voucher, merchandise, and pre-ordered food and beverage those within their party who are attending the Event, each of whom must possess a valid Ticket.

1.3 ‘Attraction’ means any location where the Game Experience is being held and where the Bar & Restaurant is located, and representatives of this location including but not limited to the management, security, front of house, service hosts and box office teams.

2. Conditions of Admission

2.1 Gamepath Entertainment reserves the right to refuse admission to a Customer, or to eject them from the Attraction at any point, if in the Attraction’s reasonable opinion the Customer: is acting in a threatening or aggressive manner; uses threatening, abusive or insulting language; appears to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; may be a risk to the safety of Attraction staff, performers or other visitors; may detract from the enjoyment of other Customers; fails, when required, to produce proof of identity, age or entitlement to a third party Ticket; fails to comply with instructions given by the Attraction’s staff; or is found to be in breach of these terms and conditions or statutory law. No refunds will be given to Customers who are refused entry or ejected due to their behaviour as suggested in, but not limited to, the examples shown above.

2.2 Conditions of entry include any or all requirements outlined regarding Covid procedures. All customers over the age of 18  must demonstrate their COVID-19 status  to gain entry by providing proof of covid pass, negative test, double vaccination or natural immunity status. Failure to produce proof will result in refusal of entry.

2.3 The Attraction reserves the right to refuse readmission to the Attraction. If Customers wish to re-enter the Attraction, they must check with the Attraction staff before they exit.

2.4 Pets or animals of any nature are expressly prohibited in the Attraction (except for guide dogs, hearing dogs and registered assistance dogs) without the express prior permission of the Attraction.

2.5 Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited in the Attraction.

2.6 Guests who are visiting Monopoly Lifesized during their visit are advised to consume alcohol after their experience. This is due to the fast paced and high energy experience during the game. We reserve the right to not serve guests who we believe to have consumed over the recommended allowance of alcohol. The Top Hat Bar & Restaurant has a zero tolerance policy for aggressive or threatening behaviour towards staff in the premises.

2.7 Under 18’s Policy
Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult (18+) during their visit. We advise a ratio of 1 over 18 year old, per 5 under 18 year old guests.

2.8 Under 18’s Parties
Groups of guests aged 18 and under are welcome to visit the The Top Hat Bar & Restaurant until 5pm during opening hours. We advise a ratio of 1 over 18 year old per 5 under 18 year old guests.

3. Prohibitions & Visitor Consent

3.1 By attending the Attraction, Customers give their consent to filming, photography and sound recording of themselves as members of the audience. The Attraction and/or Game Experience will own the copyright of such material and may use such films/photographs/recordings for any purpose, including commercial purposes, without payment or further notification.

3.2 Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed within the Attraction unless items are required on proven medical grounds or for babes in arms. Customers who do not comply may be ejected from the Attraction without refund.

3.3 The smoking of cigarettes and use of electronic cigarettes is prohibited throughout the Attraction. Customers who do not comply may be ejected from the Attraction without refund.

3.4 Where a customer has pre-purchased alcoholic drinks and look under the age of 25 when the vouchers are redeemed, they may be asked to present a valid ID, such as a driving licence or passport to prove they’re 18 years and over. It is an offence for Under 18s to attempt to purchase alcohol and you may be fined up to £1000.

4. Reservations & Cancellations

4.1 Restaurant
To reserve a table in The Top Hat Bar & Restaurant we require a deposit of £10 per person to secure the table. This deposit will be credited towards your pre order.

4.2 Bar
To reserve a bar area in The Top Hat Bar & Restaurant we require a deposit of £15 per person to secure the area. This deposit can be credited towards a bar tab on the day or a pre order. Please confirm with the Sales Event team prior to your visit how the deposit will be allocated.

Please note there is a 12.5% discretionary service charge on food and drinks in The Top Hat Bar & Restaurant. All of our prices are inclusive of VAT.

4.3 Pre Orders
Groups of 10 or more are required to make a pre order with us prior to their visit to The Top Hat Bar & Restaurant. Pre orders are due 2 weeks before your event date and 3 weeks before during the festive period. Pre-payment is alway required to be settled prior to your visit.

4.4 Reservations
We politely remind guests that we offer reservations within allocated time slots and may require the table back within a set time frame. Ticket holders to The Monopoly Lifesized experience are not guaranteed a space in the restaurant without a reservation prior to visiting.

Please be aware that by completing your reservation, you are accepting our terms and conditions.

5. Merchandise and Food & Beverage

5.1 All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. If a product you have ordered is unavailable for any reason you will not be charged for the goods and any money already debited from your account will be refunded. We will not be liable for disappointment or other losses suffered due to product unavailability.

5.2 Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the prices maintained, we expressly reserve the right to amend the price having regard to any increase in our suppliers’ prices, the imposition of new taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong.

5.3 You may elect to obtain a refund if the goods:

  1. arrive in a damaged or faulty condition, or
  2. do not comply with the description of the goods you ordered, or
  3. are incomplete in quantity (other than where you elected to receive the ordered items as they become available), or
  4. the item is out of stock upon arrival at the Attraction.

5.4 You also have the right to cancel the contract and receive a refund even if none of the reasons listed above applies; this does not apply if the goods have been personalised to your specification.

5.5 We retain ownership of the goods until we have received payment from you in full. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation from the card issuer. If we do not receive authorisation, we will not deliver your goods and will not be liable to you for delay or non-delivery.

5.6 As a working kitchen we can never guarantee any dishes are 100% free from and advise guests with severe allergies to make it known before dining. On the day of your visit please inform the front of house team of any allergies and dietary requirements in the group. It is advised for those guests to make themselves known to the team prior to dining.


6. Liability

6.1 The Attraction will not be responsible for any injury or loss, theft or damage of Customer’s personal belongings, other than that caused as a result of negligence or other breach of statutory duty by the Attraction’s personnel.

6.2 Many of the services which make up your visit are provided by independent suppliers. Those suppliers provide these services in accordance with their own terms and conditions. Some of these terms and conditions may limit or exclude the supplier’s liability to you. Copies of the relevant parts of these terms and conditions are available on request from the supplier concerned.

6.3 Nothing in these terms and conditions seeks to exclude any liability of the Attraction for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or other type of liability which cannot by law be excluded or limited.

6.4 These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and any disputes which may arise with the Attraction are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

6.5 We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time. You are advised to print and keep safe these Terms and Conditions.

VIP Partnership Card

1. Discount

1.1 Monday to Sunday (Excluding Bank Holiday Sundays and peak time during school holidays)
20% Discount on Food & Drinks. Subject to availability.

2. Conditions of Use / Validation

2.1 The card holder must be able to present the card to staff whenever requested for the discount to be applied. Card holders must present ID to prove that they are the VIP card holder if the F&B duty managers requests so.

2.2 Dining must be pre-booked and confirmed with the F & B duty manager and food discount cannot be expected on arrival without notice.

2.3 For drinks only, the card holder must inform their service host of their VIP Card before ordering. The card holder must be drinking/dining for the discount to be applied. Drinks cannot be held on a drinks only tab.

2.4 Maximum group size 4 for dining, no limit for drinks.

2.5 Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other F&B promotion, offer, set menu, or discount.

2.6 Discount will not be applied on a number of high value selected items (E.g. Champagne, Champagne sharing cocktails, Mayfair cocktail).

2.7 The F&B GM or Directors reserve the right to withhold discount at any time without notice.
